Full-time, Network Consultant

We are looking for a Network Consultant who is interested in designing, implementing and maintaining Windows and VMware based networks for a San Francisco based investment firm.

You will:

• Implement leading edge I.T. systems spanning international boundaries which will allow you to expand your experience and skill set
• Work with leading edge network and service management systems and tools including VoIP and server virtualization
• Participate in a profit sharing program which rewards your talent for improving network reliability and meeting the needs of end users
• Work with an outstanding group of I.T. professionals

Knowledge of the following is required:

• Microsoft desktop and server systems (Windows 2000 and 2003 Server, Windows XP, Vista, etc.)
• Symantec Antivirus
• Veritas Backup Exec
• Blackberry, Goodlink and/or Windows Mobile email synchronization
• Software deployment technologies (Ghost, Intellimirror, repackaging tools)
• TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP
• Sonicwall or other firewalls
• Remote access technologies (VPN, Dial-up, Terminal Services)

We also require that you have a 4 year degree, are eligible to work in the U.S and are articulate.

Preferred:

• Experience with trading floors.
• Relevant certifications (MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA)

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.  Additional compensation includes profit sharing, 17 days PTO, 100% medical, dental, vision and 401K.
